Xinle County of north China's Hebei Province held a ceremony worshiping Fuxi, a mythical ancestor of the Chinese nation, with large-scale performances. An intangible heritage exhibition was held at Hebei Academy of Fine Arts, where modern cultural and creative products were showcased alongside traditional crafts such as embroidery, wood carving and sugar painting. The event also set up immersive interactive areas, allowing visitors to try these skills such as paper cutting themselves. Furthermore, a folk culture parade took place in Luodian County of southwest China's Guizhou Province, blending local traditions and scenic views with holiday celebrations to give visitors a distinctive cultural experience. On the first day of this year's May Day holiday, a total of 47 parade teams, comprising more than 2,500 people from Guizhou and Guangxi, took to the streets in exquisite ethnic costumes. The processions marched along, singing and dancing all the way. "I really like the Buyi ethnic costumes, and the atmosphere is wonderful," said Xiong Tianyu, a visitor.
