He thanked the members of the parliament, particularly speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, for their efforts in promoting the country's development. Noting the Iranian people have demonstrated unity, faith, and resilience in the conflict, Khamenei said a pressing priority is to safeguard national unity and social cohesion, and to avoid political and social divisions. In the face of military pressure, economic warfare, and propaganda campaigns, Khamenei called on lawmakers and other political and intellectual elites of the country to jointly safeguard national unity.
