During the visit, a humanoid robot greeted Thongloun with a Chinese-kung fu-style somersault, while robot dogs performed stairs climbing as the Lao leader showed an interest to interact with the robotics. Thongloun also operated a robot dog himself, using a controller to make it perform an "ice skater" move. "It looks like an ice skater," said Thongloun.
