The Russian Ministry of Defense said in its latest report that over the past 24 hours, its forces had struck Ukrainian ports and cargo vessels serving the Ukrainian military. In addition, the Russian forces had secured control over one settlement each in the Donetsk and Sumy regions. Naval aviation aircraft from the Black Sea Fleet destroyed a Ukrainian unmanned surface vessel in the waters of the Black Sea, the report said. The report further stated that Russian air-launched precision weapons and attack drones struck Ukrainian fuel and lubricant storage tanks at the port of Odesa; two cargo ships transporting military supplies were hit at the port of Pivdennyi; and a cargo ship transporting Ukrainian military supplies to the port of Odesa was attacked northwest of the Snake Island in the Black Sea. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the same day that Ukrainian forces launched long-range strikes against targets inside Russia as well as in Crimea and Donetsk in the early hours of that day. The targets included the Ryazan oil refinery, a Russian Black Sea Fleet speedboat anchorage in Crimea, and a military radar station in Bryansk Oblast. Additionally, Ukrainian forces destroyed a Russian drone launch site and a military supplies warehouse in the Donetsk region, and damaged a logistics transport highway bridge in the area, it said. In a separate report, a Ukrainian institution stated on social media on Wednesday that Russian forces have established fire control and launched sustained attacks across a 40-kilometer depth along the Slovyansk-Kramatorsk front in the Donetsk region. The post said Russian troops used guided aerial bombs, rocket artillery, and attack drones to carry out continuous bombardment of the two cities, which are "gradually becoming isolated".
