The strike destroyed two drone hangars and a fuel depot for aircraft and military helicopters, the IRGC said in a statement. The IRGC said earlier that the United States had launched an airstrike on Iran from the military base in Kuwait, hitting two houses on Iran's Qeshm Island in an attack which killed a family of three including a child, and injured two other children. In retaliation, the IRGC said it also struck a U.S. military base in Jordan on Thursday, destroying three F-35 fighter jets.
