A Long March-8A carrier rocket lifted off at 16:52 Beijing time and placed the satellites into their designated orbit. The mission was a full-system validation flight following performance upgrades to the Long March-8A. The upgrades increased the rocket's payload capacity, supporting future frequent launches of large batches of satellites for constellation deployment. La Chine a lancé mardi le 23e groupe de satellites pour sa constellation Internet en orbite basse depuis le site de lancement commercial de Hainan, à Wenchang, dans la province insulaire méridionale de Hainan. Une fusée Longue Marche-8A a décollé à 16 h 52, heure de Beijing, et a placé les satellites sur leur orbite prévue. Cette mission constituait un vol de validation de l'ensemble du système, à la suite d'améliorations des performances de la Longue Marche-8A.
