The Chinese delegation consists of 220 members, including 71 competitors, 64 experts, 64 interpreters and other staff members. The delegation will take part in all the 64 skill categories at the biennial event. The competitors come from 21 provincial-level regions across the country, with 58 males and 13 females. Among them, 49 are students and 22 are workers. Their average age is 21, with the youngest at 18 and the oldest at 25. The 48th edition will feature 64 competition categories spanning manufacturing, transportation, construction, information, creative arts and services. This year marks the eighth time China has participated in the competition and the third time it has participated in all categories. Since joining WorldSkills International in 2010, China has accumulated 93 gold, 41 silver and 28 bronze medals, alongside 71 excellence awards, across the previous seven competitions.
