Recently, a freight train loaded with machinery, auto parts, and electronics departed from the port bound for Moscow, Russia. With this shipment, the number of China-Europe (Central Asia) freight trains passing through the port this year surpassed the 7,000 mark. Meanwhile, the volume of cargo has exceeded 12 million tons. The railway port processes freight train trips along 91 operational routes linking 46 cities and regions across 18 countries. Cargo transported via these routes spans more than 200 categories, including auto parts, electrical and electronic products, construction materials, steel, cultural and sports products, and daily necessities. As of June, a total of 128 Chinese cities have been connected to the China-Europe freight train service network, extending to 229 cities in 26 European countries and over 100 cities in 11 Asian countries.
