China's giant pandas Ping Ping and Fu Shuang will make their public debut at Zoo Atlanta on Nov 6, when the new Arthur M. Blank Panda Grove opens, according to the U.S. zoo.

The giant panda pair departed for Zoo Atlanta from the Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport in southwest China's Sichuan Province on a chartered flight on Sept 27, kicking off their 10-year stay at the zoo.

Before their departure, the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding held a farewell ceremony for the animals.

The two pandas arrived at Zoo Atlanta on Sept 27. Since then, they have been isolated in a safe area to adapt to the new environment, and have not met the public.
