The activity took place just before the 76th anniversary of the CPV entering the DPRK to fight in the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, which falls on Sunday, October 25. The cemetery is located on a mountain peak near Sinyang Town in Sinyang County. Walking along the mountain path to the cemetery, all participants stood in solemn formation in front of the tombstone inscribed with "Tombs of the Martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteers." They presented flower baskets to the memorial monument, bowed in tribute, and offered wine and flowers to honor the fallen heroes. China sent 2.9 million CPV soldiers to assist the DPRK during the war, of whom more than 360,000 were killed or injured.
