"China's stance on the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula is consistent. We insist on the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, maintaining peace and stability of the peninsula, and solving the issue through dialogues and negotiations. The Security Council's resolution has a clear statement on the issue of the DPRK ballistic missile launch. At the same time, we hope that all the relevant parties should keep calm and exercise restraint, avoiding any moves that may provoke each other or aggravate tensions in the region. The signal sent out by the Security Council should also be comprehensive and balanced."
