Five to six militants stormed a police training college in southwest Pakistan's Quetta Monday night, killing at least 59 and leaving more than a hundred injured.
Over 200 others were held hostage, with some released later.
Witnesses heard consistent gunfire and at least three explosions.
The militants wearing suicide vests launched the attacks when the instructors and cadets were sleeping. A survival said he saw two militants begin shooting at a room.
The college now has closed its gate, and no media is allowed to enter.
No organizations have so far claimed responsibility for this deadly incident.
