A bronze ware exhibition opened on Monday at Shaanxi History Museum in northwest China’s Xi’an City.
A total of 206 pieces of bronze wares were showcased at the exhibition, co-organized by cultural relics bureau of Shaanxi, Shanxi, Henan and Hebei Provinces. Those antiques tell the history of Western and Eastern Zhou Dynasty(1046-256 BC) and reflect the culture of the period.
"What do those bronze wares represent? They represent the history, the characteristics and the arts of the feudal states. They showed an era of ethnic fusion, an era of cultural exchange," said Dong Li, director of collection display department, Shaanxi History Museum.
Some precious collections debuted in Shaanxi Province. The exhibition is open to the public for free and will last until Feb. 24, 2017.
