"As we have said many times before that the China-U.S. economic and trade relationship is mutually beneficial and win-win in essence. China and the United States stand the world's two largest economies which are highly complementary and have a great potential for cooperation. This cooperation for almost four decades now has not only brought down-to-earth economic and social benefits like employment to the peoples of the two countries, but also provided an impetus for the global economic growth."

The China-U.S. economic and trade cooperation is mutually beneficial and win-win in essence, said a Chinese foreign ministry spokesman on Wednesday when commenting the meeting between U.S. President-elect Donald Trump and China's e-commerce giant Alibaba founder Jack Ma.
As China continues to advance its export-oriented economy and opening-up policy, it is only common to see more enterprise exchanges, said Lu Kang, spokesman with the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
