Storyline

The Indonesian suspect in the assassination of a DPRK (Democratic People's Republic of Korea) man at a Kuala Lumpur airport said she was paid 400 Malaysian ringgits to do a prank as part of a reality show, said an Indonesian official Saturday in Malaysia.

Indonesian deputy ambassador to Malaysia, Andreano Erwin, on Saturday met the Indonesian suspect for about 30 minutes at the Cyberjaya police station.

The suspect said before carrying out the activity, she met two persons named James and Chang respectively, adding that these are probably pseudonyms.

The official said that the suspect told him the two persons gave her 400 ringgits to do these activities.

The suspect said she did not know the other Vietnamese suspect involved in the case. They carried out the activity on Feb. 13 with some "baby oil".

"She only told us that she brought some oil, like baby oil. It's just some kind of liquid," Erwin said.

A nerve agent used in chemical warfare was found on the face of the dead man, who was alleged to be the half-brother of the DPRK top leader, Malaysian police said Friday.

The VX nerve agent was discovered from swabs of the face and eyes of the man.

Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi confirmed that the man was Kim Jong Nam, half-brother of DPRK top leader Kim Jong Un, but the claim was denied by the DPRK ambassador to Malaysia Kang Chol.
