"[We are] worried about climate change. So I think everyone needs to be concerned about it. It's an issue for the entire planet. I think we need to keep the environmental protections we have right now against pollution, then taking care of the planet. We all need clean air; we need clean water; we need to clean up our oceans. There are a lot of things that we could be doing [right now]."

Thousands of people took to the streets in downtown Chicago on Saturday to participate in the Earth Day march.
The participants, including scientific researchers, environmentalists and students, were also taking part in a March for Science rally, which was organized to promote the understanding of science and defend it from various threats, including the U.S. government budget cuts.
Many carried signs that said "Make Earth Cool Again", "Love Your Mother" and "There Is No Planet B", and listened to speeches about science and climate change.
Some said they are worried about political rejection of established science such as climate change.
