Storyline

A group of ship-borne helicopters have recently conducted live-fire anti-submarine drills in the Yellow Sea.

The night-and-day drills started with all the ship-borne helicopters suspending over the landing platform, keeping pace with the ship, and the pilots seized the opportunity of stable movement of the ship to land on the ship.

"It is more difficult to observe at night than during the daytime, as the pilot might mistake the height and speed. So we had to adjust it many times before landing. This is a test and a challenge," said a pilot.

The helicopters quickly spotted their targets and conducted precise attacks.

"After the trainings, we discussed and summed up the experience and studied and arrived at dozens ways of attacking submarines and raised our anti-submarine operations," said Zhang Keyan, officer of the helicopter group.
