Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang on Saturday met with Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak respectively in Beijing prior to the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.

In his meeting with the Prime Minister, Xi said that Malaysia is an early supporter of the Belt and Road Initiative and has become one of the countries that has benefited the most from it.

Xi told Prime Minister Najib Razak on the eve of the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation that China will continue to increase bilateral cooperation under the initiative.

For his part, Najib said the Belt and Road is a historic initiative that will bring huge changes to the region and the world at large, adding that Malaysia will actively participate in it.

Xi then said the China-Malaysia relationship is currently at its best ever and the two sides will continue cooperating in the areas of culture, counter-terrorism, education, industrial parks, law enforcement, railway projects, security and tourism.

China will advance the comprehensive strategic partnership with Malaysia to further improve bilateral ties, Xi added.

While meeting the Prime Minister, Chinese premier Li Keqiang said that China appreciates Malaysia's positive response to the Belt and Road Initiative and China is willing to support the construction and interactive development of China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park and Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park, promote the cooperation of Malacca Industrial Park project, enlarge the infrastructure construction such as railways, build closer economic and trade exchanges, and enhance cooperation in national defense and law enforcement with Malaysia.

Li also said that he hopes Malaysia can play its active role in promoting the development of the China-ASEAN relations.

For his part, Najib said that Malaysia is willing to continue to strengthen the development momentum of the bilateral relations, actively cooperate with China in building two industrial parks and infrastructure construction, and expand cooperation in e-commerce and tourism.

Malaysia is willing to make positive efforts in promoting ASEAN-China relations, Najib added.

They later witnessed the signing of a series of bilateral cooperation documents concerning economic development, customs inspection and quarantine, as well as infrastructure.

Le président chinois Xi Jinping a indiqué samedi que la Malaisie était un soutien de longue date de l'initiative "la Ceinture et la Route" et comptait parmi les plus grands bénéficiaires de celle-ci.

M. Xi a fait ces remarques lors de son entretien avec le Premier ministre malaisien, Najib Razak, à la veille du Forum de "la Ceinture et la Route" pour la coopération internationale, indiquant que la Chine promouvrait davantage le développement de la coopération sino-malaisienne dans le cadre de cette initiative.

Najib Razak a déclaré pour sa part que "la Ceinture et la Route" était une initiative historique qui apporterait d'importants changements à la région et au reste du monde, ajoutant que la Malaisie y participerait activement.

Les relations sino-malaisiennes traversent leur meilleure période, et les deux parties poursuivront la coopération dans les secteurs de la culture, de la lutte contre le terrorisme, de l'éducation, des parcs industriels, de l'application de la loi, des projets ferroviaires, de la sécurité et du tourisme, a souligné M. Xi.

La Chine promouvra le partenariat stratégique global avec la Malaisie pour améliorer les relations bilatérales, a-t-il ajouté.

Lors de la rencontre entre les Premiers ministres chinois et malaisien, M. Li Keqiang a déclaré que la Chine apprécie la réponse positive de la Malaisie à l'Initiative "la Ceinture et la Route" et que la Chine est prête à soutenir la construction et le développement interactif du Parc industriel Chine-Malaisie Qinzhou et du Parc industriel Malaysia-China Kuantan, à promouvoir la coopération sur le projet du parc industriel de Malacca, à élargir la construction d'infrastructures telles que les chemins de fer, à multiplier les échanges économiques et commerciaux plus étroits et à renforcer la coopération en matière de défense nationale et d'application de la loi avec la Malaisie.

Li a également indiqué qu'il espère que la Malaisie pourra jouer son rôle actif dans la promotion du développement des relations Chine-ASEAN.

Pour sa part, Najib a déclaré que la Malaisie est disposée à continuer de renforcer l'élan du développement des relations bilatérales, à coopérer activement avec la Chine dans la construction de deux parcs industriels et la construction d'infrastructures, ainsi qu'à élargir la coopération dans le commerce électronique et le tourisme.

La Malaisie est disposée à faire des efforts positifs dans la promotion des relations ASEAN-Chine, a ajouté Najib.

Ils ont assisté plus tard à la cérémonie de signature d'une série de documents de coopération bilatérale concernant le développement économique, l'inspection des douanes et la quarantaine, ainsi que les infrastructures.

قال الرئيس الصيني شي جين بينغ يوم السبت/ 13 مايو الجاري إن ماليزيا دعمت مبادرة الحزام والطريق مبكرا وأصبحت من الدول التي استفادت منها بشكل كبير.

وقال شي لرئيس الوزراء الماليزي الزائر نجيب رزاق عشية منتدى الحزام والطريق للتعاون الدولي إن الصين ستستمر في تعزيز التعاون الثنائي فى إطار المبادرة.

وأوضح نجيب أن المبادرة تاريخية وستحدث تغيرات كبيرة في المنطقة والعالم أجمع، مضيفا أن ماليزيا ستشارك بفاعلية فيها.

وأضاف شي أن العلاقات بين الصين وماليزيا في أفضل مراحلها الآن، وسيواصل الجانبان التعاون في مجالات الثقافة ومكافحة الإرهاب والتعليم والمناطق الصناعية وإنفاذ القانون ومشروعات السكك الحديد والأمن والسياحة.

وأشار إلى أن الصين ستدفع الشراكة الاستراتيجية الشاملة مع ماليزيا قدماً من أجل زيادة تحسين العلاقات الثنائية.

كما التقى نجيب في اليوم نفسه برئيس مجلس الدولة الصيني لي كه تشيانغ، حيث شهدا توقيع مجموعة من الاتفاقيات الثنائية حول الربط بين استراتيجيات التنمية الخاصة بالبلدين، وحول التعاون في مجال التفتيش والحجر الصحي وغيرها من المجالات.

وقال لي إنه يثمن استجابة ماليزيا النشطة إلى مبادرة الحزام والطريق، مضيفاً أن الصين سوف تستمر في دعم المجمعات الصناعية الصينية - الماليزية في كل من تشينغتشو بالصين وكوانتان بماليزيا، وسوف تعمل على توسيع التعاون في مجال البنية الأساسية. كما أكد لي أن البلدين سوف يستمران في العمل معا فيما يتعلق بالقضايا الأمنية.

وأكد نجيب أن ماليزيا تهدف إلى التعاون مع الصين في مجالي التجارة الإلكترونية والسياحة، في الوقت الذي سوف تستمر فيه في بذل جهود مشتركة في إنشاء السكك الحديدية والمجمعات الصناعية، مضيفا أن ماليزيا سوف تعمل أيضا على تعزيز العلاقات بين الصين ورابطة دول جنوب شرق آسيا.
