More than 10,000 Russians flooded into the International Aviation and Space Salon (MAKS) after it was open to the general public on Friday.
The visitors braved heavy rains to see the cutting-edge aircraft technologies and enjoyed aerobatic stunts performance, and they are very proud of the new technologies and marveled at the stunt show.
"I'm proud of these new technologies and equipment. These new aircraft have completed extraordinary aerobatic flights so I feel proud," said a visitor, carrying a child on his shoulder.
"The Sukhoi and Mikoyan airplanes and the engines are impressive. Their excellence has been displayed in the sky. All pilots and test pilots are among the best. They have stunned us visitors with their skills," said another another visitor.
The biennial MAKS air show has displayed a wide range of airplanes, including the MS-21 passenger jetliner, the Su-35 fighter and the Ka-52 attack helicopter. It aims to promote business with international partners. It has grown into one of the largest five air shows in the world.
