The forum this year will focus on topics including "Sustainable development: opportunities and challenges facing world of labor", "Promoting the agenda 2030: historical tasks of trade unions" and "Embracing a new and golden ten years: strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the world of labor of BRICS countries."

The trade union leaders will conduct in-depth discussions on these topics and jointly issue a declaration by the end of the forum.

The 9th BRICS leaders' meeting is scheduled for this September in the southeastern Chinese city of Xiamen, during China's rotating BRICS presidency this year.
