Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte pledged on Tuesday that his country will build stronger bilateral relations with China.

While meeting with visiting Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Manila, Duterte said the Philippines attaches great importance to China's status and influence in the world, and is willing to build stronger relations with China

Duterte said the Philippines greatly appreciates the support China extends to his country and the role China plays in his country's development, especially China's support to the Philippine government's counter-terrorism efforts.

He expressed his satisfaction with the development of the bilateral ties between the two countries, saying the Philippines is willing to deepen cooperation with China in all sectors so as to benefit the two countries and their peoples.

Wang said that China unwaveringly supports the Philippine's independent foreign policy.

Wang recalled that bilateral relations between China and the Philippines have greatly improved under the guidance of the leaders of the two countries, saying improvement in relations has brought tangible benefits to the two peoples.

Wang said for neighbors like China and the Philippines, dialogue is better than confrontation and cooperation is better than friction, adding that history will show that the two countries have made a right choice in improving bilateral ties.

Le président philippin Rodrigo Duterte a promis mardi de construire des relations bilatérales plus solides avec la Chine.

"Les Philippines accordent une grande importance au statut et à l'influence de la Chine dans le monde et veulent construire des relations plus solides avec la Chine'', a déclaré M. Duterte lors de sa rencontre avec le ministre chinois des Affaires étrangères, Wang Yi.

M. Duterte a salué le soutien que la Chine a apporté à son pays, en particulier en matière de lutte contre le terrorisme et le rôle qu’elle a joué dans la construction de sa nation. Le président philippin s'est déclaré satisfait de l'évolution des liens bilatéraux entre les deux pays, ajoutant que les Philippines voulaient approfondir la coopération gagnant-gagnant avec la Chine dans tous les secteurs.

M. Wang a réitéré que la Chine soutenait inébranlablement la politique étrangère indépendante des Philippines, rappelant que leurs relations bilatérales se sont considérablement améliorées grâce aux impulsions données par les dirigeants des deux pays, et que cette amélioration a procuré des avantages tangibles aux deux pays.

"Les faits parlent d'eux-mêmes. Pour les voisins, le dialogue vaut mieux que la confrontation, et la coopération vaut mieux que les frictions. L'histoire montrera que nous avons fait le bon choix,'' a affirmé M. Wang.

تعهد الرئيس الفلبيني رودريجو دوتيرتي يوم الثلاثاء/ 25 يوليو الجاري ببناء علاقات ثنائية أوثق بين بلاده والصين.

وقال دوتيرتي خلال اجتماعه مع وزير الخارجية الصيني الزائر وانغ يي في مانيلا، إن الفلبين تولي اهتماما كبيرا لمكانة الصين وتأثيرها في العالم، وانها مستعدة لبناء علاقات أقوى مع الصين.

وأكد دوتيرتي ان الفلبينيين يقدرون بشدة الدعم الذي قدمته الصين لبلادهم ودور الصين في بناء وتطور الفلبين، وبشكل خاص دعم الصين لها في مكافحة الإرهاب.

وأعرب دوتيرتي عن رضاه عن تطور العلاقات بين البلدين، قائلا ان الفلبين مستعدة لتعزيز التعاون مع الصين في كافة المجالات من أجل نفع البلديْن والشعبيْن.

ومن جانبه أكد وانغ على دعم بلاده الثابت للسياسة الخارجية المستقلة للفلبين.

وقال وانغ ان العلاقات الثنائية بين الصين والفلبين تحسنت بشكل شامل تحت إرشاد وتوجيه من زعيميْ البلدين، موضحا ان العلاقات بين البلدين حققت نتائج قيمة لشعبيْ البلدين.

وأضاف وانغ أن "الحقائق أعلى صوتا. وبالنسبة للجيران، الحوار أفضل من المواجهة والتعاون أفضل من الخلافات. وسيثبت التاريخ اننا اتخذنا الخيار الصحيح لتحسين العلاقات الصينية الفلبينية."

Президент Филиппин Родриго Дутерте 25 июля в филиппинской столице Манила провел встречу с министром иностранных дел КНР Ван И.

Как сообщает ИА "Синьхуа", Родриго Дутерте попросил Ван И передать председателю КНР Си Цзиньпину искренний привет и заявил, что Филиппины высоко ценят международное положение и влияние Китая и стремятся построить с ним еще более тесные и прочные двусторонние отношения. Филиппины придают большое значение помощи и активной роли Китая в развитии и строительстве Филиппин, особенно, благодарны Китаю за помощь и поддержку в борьбе с терроризмом. Филиппины очень довольны успехами развития отношений с Китаем и намерены совместными усилиями углублять всестороннее прагматичное сотрудничество на благо народов двух стран и совместно содействовать процессу сотрудничества в Восточной Азии.

Ван И отметил, что благодаря политической решимости и собственной инициативе лидеров двух стран китайско-филиппинские отношения улучшились, всего за полгода с лишним всесторонне восстановились связи в различных сферах, прагматичное сотрудничество получило бурное развитие, которое приносит реальные выгоды народам стран и открывает еще большие перспективы. Очевидный контраст улучшения китайско-филиппинских отношений подтверждается реальными действия, диалог лучше конфронтации, сотрудничество лучше трений. El presidente de Filipinas, Rodrigo Duterte, prometió el pasado martes que su país fortalecerá la construcción de una fuerte relación bilateral con China, durante su reunión con Wang Yi, ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de China, quien está de visita, en Manila, capital filipina.

Duterte dijo que Filipinas concede gran importancia a la posición de China y su influencia en el mundo.

Filipina agradece enormemente a China el papel que ésta desempeña en su desarrollo, así como su apoyo al país sudasiático, en especial en la lucha contra el terrorismo, según Duterte.

El presidente filipino expresó su satisfacción por el desarrollo de las relaciones bilaterales, y reiteró la voluntad filipina de profundizar la cooperación con China en todos los sectores, a fin de lograr beneficios para ambos países y pueblos.

Wang, por su parte, dijo que China apoyará firmemente la política exterior independiente de Filipinas.

Las relaciones bilaterales entre China y Filipinas han mejorado considerablemente bajo la orientación de ambos dirigentes (Duterte y Xi Jinping), recordó Wang, diciendo que dicho mejoramiento se ha traducido en beneficios tangibles para ambas partes.

Para países vecinos como China y Filipinas, el diálogo siempre es mejor que la confrontación, y la cooperación es mejor que la fricción, enfatizó Wang, añadiendo que la historia ha demostrado que los dos países han hecho una elección correcta para mejorar las relaciones bilaterales.
