"These ones are so much more comfortable because you can really just leave them where ever you want and everything, and also the fact you can use them after midnight. It's amazing because I think it's really a lot safer to bike home than walk home, and also it's hard to take public transport, a taxi is maybe expensive, whilst the bikes are really, really, really comfortable. I really like them."

Chinese shared bikes launched in Italian cities in July, making transportation more convenient for local residents and tourists alike. So far the bikes have received rave reviews.
In July and August, Chinese bike-sharing companies Mobike and Ofo entered the cities of Florence and Milan. The total number of Chinese shared bikes in the two cities has surpassed 10,000 units. The bikes have helped build a sustainable and convenient transportation system in the two cities.
With novel designs and technological breakthroughs, Chinese shared bikes create new experiences for bike users.
"It is a good idea that one can leave shared bikes at any place. The advantage [of the shared bikes] is that it provides a fast way to travel without causing any pollution. So, it is really a good thing," said Marco Bianchi, a local resident.
"These ones are so much more comfortable because you can really just leave them where ever you want and everything, and also the fact you can use them after midnight. It's amazing because I think it's really a lot safer to bike home than walk home, and also it's hard to take public transport, a taxi is maybe expensive, whilst the bikes are really, really, really comfortable. I really like them," said Thea Jorgensen, a Norwegian woman residing in Milan.
Milan launched 4,600 shared bikes five years ago, however, the rental price was high and the bikes needed to be returned to assigned docking stations. Chinese bike-sharing companies have introduced a dockless bike-sharing system to Milan.
