China's annual Central Economic Work Conference opened Monday.
The conference will review the country's economic performance of 2017 and work out plans for 2018.
The conference will focus on how to implement the decisions taken at the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and make arrangements for the economic tasks in 2018 that will focus on the fundamental requirements of high-quality development.
The conference will iron out predictions on economic growth, supply-side structural reforms, and high-quality development. It will also discuss other hot issues as foreign direct investment, financial risk control, tax and fee reforms, and the rental housing system.
