Storyline

A training unit under the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Rocket Force conducted a military dog championship during the Spring Festival to enhance their skills and also celebrate the festival.

The first competition was fire ring-jumping, with its difficulty level set from easy to difficult.

With the order given, four military dogs dashed out and jumped through the fire rings as quickly as they could.

"During the holiday, we held the dog championship. Its content includes searching, keeping alert and biting. Through the competition, it try to motivate soldiers' training enthusiasm, enrich their festival cultural life and also enhance the real combat capability of military dogs," said Li Baohua, leader of the military dog training unit.

As the results of the four dogs were equally good in the first competition, a subject on searching targets was carried out immediately.

Following the trainers' orders, the dogs searched every shelter carefully and helped the trainer subdue the "gangsters" once they found the target.

The subject involving crawling and biting tested cooperation between the dogs and their trainers and their real combat capability.

After four rounds of competition, military dog "shenjian" won the first prize.
