"It's amazing. The snow in northeast provinces feels so cold, but everyone is warm-hearted. I like here very much. As soon as I walked into the park, I felt like I stepped into a wonderland. The lights made the whole park very romantic."

Tourists to northeast China's Harbin City were amazed by magnificent ice sculpture and lantern shows during the Spring Festival holiday.
Renowned as the City of Ice, Harbin, the capital city of Heilongjiang Province, holds the Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival every winter. During the festival holiday in particular, the whole city is decorated with colorful ice lanterns and fabulous sculptures.
This year, to enhance the festive atmosphere, Harbin added fireworks shows, folk activities and ice sports to festival celebrations.
"Apart from the usual scenic spots we knew before, there are many new places for fun. The ice lantern show and the brilliant fireworks are fantastic. It's worth the trip," said Chen Yashu, a tourist from Beijing.
The festival first attracted mainly Chinese tourists, but in recent years, more tourists across the world have come to the festival to enjoy the unique charm of winter.
"Yes it's so cold. I can't feel my hands. I can't feel my hands. It's very cold. I think it's beautiful. You know it's different from my country. Everything is different. I like it. I like Harbin. I like China," said William Charlie, a U.S. tourist.
Although the festival officially started on Jan 5 and will last for one month, it usually exists for a longer time, covering the Spring Festival holiday. This year, more than 30,000 tourists have come to Harbin every day during the Spring Festival holiday period.
