An air unit of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) ground force Wednesday held a live-fire exercise off southeast China coast, the ground force said Thursday.

The exercise, which involved the coordination of various types of armed helicopters, was an annual routine arrangement to test the force's all-weather combat capability, it said.

At around 08:00, helicopters carrying a variety of ammunition were ready to fly to designated waters.

After taking off, pilots set their own courses and detected targets on the water, then fired the floating targets and simulated ships with missiles and rocket projectiles.

"The general impression during the exercise is that the maritime environment is more complicated. The strong wind and torrential waves made the targets fluctuate greatly. We had to identify the targets, take aim and fire at them in a short time before leaving quickly. We had to destroy the targets while keeping ourselves safe. The exercise has effectively raised our awareness of the enemy and combat-readiness," said Zhang Sen, a pilot of the exercise.

The exercise was conducted in a complicated electromagnetic environment.

"We conducted the live-fire exercise in line with the requirements of dealing with the real situation, overcoming difficulties and strictness in real combat. In terms of environment, we highlighted night operations, the complicated and sea electromagnetic environment; in terms of tactics, we stressed far-out and coordinated attacks and multi-ammunition continuous attacks; in terms of method, we stressed self-detection and taking decisions according to actual conditions. In this way, we have raised the real-combat capabilities in an all-round manner," said Yang Baowei, a deputy brigade commander of the force.

The exercise ended at around 23:30 with the landing of the last helicopter.

Une unité aérienne de la force terrestre de l'Armée populaire de libération (APL) a mené mercredi un exercice de tir réel au large de la côte sud-est de la Chine.

Il s’agit d’un exercice annuel de routine qui a mobilisé plusieurs types d’hélicoptères militaires visant à tester la capacité de combat de la force armée.

Армейская авиация сухопутных войск Народно-освободительной армии Китая (НОАК) провела 18 апреля военные учения с боевой стрельбой в воздушном пространстве над акваторией юго-восточного побережья страны.

Как стало известно, координаты угловых точек зоны для проведения учений были объявлены ранее Управлением по морским делам провинции Фуцзянь, а именно: 24-52,9N/118-50,0E, 24-52,9N/118-55,9E, 24-42,6N/118-55,9E и 24-42,6N/118-50E.

Примерно в 8:00 боевые вертолеты, оснащенные пушками и реактивными снарядами, поднялись в воздух и вылетели в назначенную акваторию.

В ходе учений пилоты выработали навыки самостоятельного определения курса полета, обнаружения и идентификации надводных целей и нанесения ракетных ударов по ним.

"Во время учений у меня было ощущение, что условия для ведения боевых действий в воздухе над морем, в целом, достаточно сложны: плавучие мишени раскачиваются при сильном ветре и мощных волнах. Поэтому пилоты должны как можно быстрее распознать и взять на прицел мишени и открыть по ним огонь, затем быстро уйти с театра боевых действий. Словом, надо уничтожить цели и оставить себя невредимым. Честно говоря, учения очень помогли нам в усилении сознания о реальной военной борьбе и в подъеме боевого духа", – сказал Чжан Сэнь, один из пилотов, участвующих в учениях.

Учения проводились в сложных электромагнитных условиях.

Una unidad aérea de la fuerza terrestre del Ejército Popular de Liberación (EPL) de China llevó a cabo el pasado miércoles un ejercicio de fuego real frente a la costa suroriental de China, informó hoy jueves la fuerza terrestre.

El ejercicio, que contó con la coordinación de helicópteros armados de varios tipos, forma parte de una actividad anual rutinaria para probar la capacidad de combate de la fuerza ante todo tipo de situaciones.

Aproximadamente a las 08:00 horas, los helicópteros, armados con una variedad de municiones, estaban listos para volar hacia las áreas designadas para realizar las maniobras.

Después de despegar, los pilotos establecieron sus rutas y detectaron objetivos en el agua. Después, atacaron los objetivos flotantes y barcos simulados con misiles y proyectiles de cohetes.

"Nuestra impresión general durante el ejercicio es que el entorno marítimo es muy complejo. El fuerte viento y las olas torrenciales hicieron que los objetivos fluctuaran mucho.
