Hundreds of people in Chicago took to the street on Tuesday to protest against the United States moving its embassy to Jerusalem.

The protesters, including Arab migrants from the Middle East and non-Arab U.S. citizens, held posters like "Stop killing Palestinian protesters," "No U.S. aid to Israel" and "U.S. and Israel: Hands off Jerusalem" to urge U.S. President Donald Trump to reverse the racist decision to move the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem which they believe goes against international law.

"Donald Trump is violating international law. As people in the United States, our obligation is to speak out again and again: 'You cannot do this in our name,'" said one protester.

On Monday, the United States opened its embassy in Jerusalem, triggering deadly clashes along the Israeli-Palestinian border, in which at least 61 Palestinians were reportedly killed and over 1,771 wounded.
