"The easing of the Peninsula tension is hard-won and needs to be cherished by all parties. The easing of the tension is not only in the interests of the relevant parties on the Korean Peninsula but in fact also meets the universal expectation of the international community. So when the peaceful and political settlement of the peninsula issue is facing major opportunities, all the relevant parties, especially the U.S. and the DPRK, should work with each other and show their goodwill and sincerity to each other to jointly create good conditions and atmosphere for leaders' meeting and make positive efforts toward the realization of lasting peace and stability on the peninsula."
