"Chinese President Xi Jinping on May 16 sent a message of condolences to Indonesian President Joko Widodo over the terrorist attack. Xi said in his message that he was shocked at the terrorist attack that happened in Surabaya City, Java Province of Indonesia and offered his deep condolences to all the victims on behalf of the Chinese government and people and in his own name. Xi also extended deep sympathy and sincere condolences to the families of the victims. In his message, Xi said that terrorism is a common enemy of all human beings.
