Colombia will hold the second round of presidential election on Sunday as no candidate won half of the votes in the first round of election on May 27.
More than 36 million voters can cast their votes through 10,000 polling stations to choose the new president between Ivan Duque, the right-wing candidate of the Democratic Center Party, and Gustavo Petro of the left-wing.
It is predicted the voting will last for eight hours and the counting result will be released on Sunday night.
In the first round of election, Duque claimed 39.13 percent of the votes, about 14 percentage points higher than Petro's. Duque, a protege of former president Alvaro Uribe who opposed the peace deal, said that he will continue to promote peace talks with the National Liberation Army after being elected, but he advocates some adjustment to key clauses of the deal.
