Saudi Arabia and Turkey had reached consensus on providing support to oppositions in north Syria, however, some analysts believe the two countries will fall apart on the Syria issue after the disappearance of the Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
Hariri said both Saudi Arabia and Turkey play important roles in the process of promoting a settlement of the Syria issue, and Syrian crisis needs joint efforts from the international community.
He said he hopes that the interests of Syrian people won't become chips for parties to political bargain and meet their demands.
