People gathered in the city hall of Thousand Oaks in the U.S. state of California on Thursday to mourn the victims killed in a mass shooting in a bar on Wednesday.

The shooting left 13 people dead, including a police officer and the gunman, with more than 20 others wounded, local authorities have confirmed.

Many people lined up in the city hall to get candles and enter the hall for the mourning. Among the mourners were classmates and friends of the victims, who made the majority of the dead.

"You got to get through it. You got to just pick yourself up and continue on. And it's kind of hard thing. It shouldn't happen, but it does," said a local resident at the hall.

The bar was hosting a college night when the shooting occurred, so most of the victims were young people aged around 20.

The police are announcing their identity information. Some of the victims were students at universities nearby, and some just graduated from college or were ready to join the army. Their death grieved the entire city of Thousand Oaks.

La ville de Thousand Oaks est en deuil.

Un homme armé a ouvert le feu mercredi soir dans un bar bondé de Thousand Oaks, dans le sud de la Californie, où se tenait une fête d’étudiants. Douze personnes, dont un policier, ont été tuées et plus de 20 autres blessées, ont confirmé les autorités locales.

L’auteur de la fusillade, âgé de 28 ans, était un ancien soldat ayant servi dans le corps d'élite des Marines. Il a fini par retourner l'arme contre lui.

Les habitants de la ville se sont rendus à la mairie pour rendre hommage aux victimes qui sont pour la plupart des étudiants.

"Il faut traverser cette période. Il faut se remonter le moral. C’est dur. Cela ne devrait pas se produire, mais c'est le cas", a dit un habitant.

Cientos de ciudadanos se reunieron el pasado jueves en el ayuntamiento de Thousand Oaks en Estados Unidos (EEUU) de California para despedir a las víctimas asesinadas en un tiroteo masivo ocurrido en un bar de la ciudad el miércoles anterior.

El tiroteo dejó 13 muertos, entre ellos un oficial de policía y el pistolero, y más de 20 heridos, confirmaron las autoridades locales.

Muchos asistentes se pusieron en cola en el ayuntamiento para obtener velas y entrar en el salón de luto. Entre los dolientes había compañeros de clase y amigos de las víctimas.

"Tienes que superarlo. Tienes que levantarte y continuar, y es algo difícil. No debería suceder, pero sucedió", dijo un residente.

El bar Borderline and Grill estaba organizando una noche universitaria cuando ocurrió el tiroteo, por lo que la mayoría de las víctimas fueron jóvenes de alrededor de 20 años.

　米カリフォルニア州サウザンドオークスのバーで7日起きた銃乱射事件の犠牲者を追悼する集会が8日夜行われ、住民らが死亡した人を悼んだ。
