Chinese Vice Premier Han Zheng met with Bill Gates, chairman of TerraPower and co-founder of Microsoft Corporation from the United States, in Beijing on Thursday.

Han, also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, said China and the United States have a sound foundation for cooperation in energy field.

China is willing to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation with the U.S. in new energy and energy technological innovation so as to constantly improve energy structure and promote clean and safe development of energy, Han said.

As China is opening wider to the outside world with improving business environment, it is hoping to see more U.S. companies to carry out energy cooperation in China to jointly advance energy-related technologies, he said.

Bill Gates spoke highly of China's achievements in the sustainable development of energy. He expressed his willingness to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation with China in energy field.

Le vice-Premier ministre chinois Han Zheng a rencontré, jeudi à Beijing, Bill Gates, co-fondateur de Microsoft et président de TerraPower.

Durant leur rencontre, M. Han a indiqué que la Chine était disposée à approfondir la coopération mutuellement bénéfique avec les Etats-Unis dans le domaine de l'énergie nouvelle et des innovations technologiques liées à l'énergie afin d'optimiser continuellement sa structure énergétique.

M. Han, membre du Comité permanent du Bureau politique du Comité central du Parti communiste chinois, a souligné que la Chine ouvrait plus grandes ses portes et que son environnement commercial continuait à s'améliorer.

Les entreprises américaines sont les bienvenues en Chine pour leur coopération dans le secteur de l'énergie, en vue d'améliorer les progrès technologiques et de parvenir à un plus grand développement grâce à une coopération mutuellement bénéfique et gagnant-gagnant, a poursuivi M. Han.

Pour sa part, M. Gates a salué les réalisations de la Chine dans le secteur du développement énergétique durable, ajoutant que sa société continuerait à promouvoir la coopération avec la partie chinoise à cet égard.

التقى نائب رئيس مجلس الدولة الصيني هان تشنغ يوم الخميس/ 8 نوفمبر الجاري في بكين مع بيل جيتس الشريك المؤسس لشركة ميكروسوفت ورئيس شركة تيرا باور .

وخلال اللقاء، قال هان إن الصين مستعدة لتعميق التعاون متبادل المنفعة مع الولايات المتحدة في الطاقة الجديدة والابتكار التكنولوجي المرتبط بالطاقة لتحسين هيكل الطاقة باستمرار.

وأضاف هان، وهو أيضا عضو اللجنة الدائمة للمكتب السياسي للجنة المركزية للحزب الشيوعي الصيني، أن الصين تفتح أبوابها بشكل أوسع وتواصل تحسين بيئة الأعمال.

وتابع هان قائلا إن الصين ترحب بدخول الشركات الأمريكية الى البلاد للتعاون في مجال الطاقة بغية تعزيز التقدم التكنولوجي وتحقيق تنمية أكبر عبر التعاون متبادل المنفعة والمربح للجانبين.

ومن جانبه، أشاد جيتس بإنجازات الصين في قطاع تنمية الطاقة المستدامة، مضيفا أن شركته ستواصل تعزيز التعاون مع الجانب الصيني في هذا الصدد.
