Chinese restaurants have become popular in many Palestinian cities, with hungry customers keen to taste the appetizing flavors and enjoy the fast delivery of meals.

The strong international reputation of Chinese food and the chance to learn under the guidance of professional Chinese chefs has been a big incentive for many Palestinians to open up their own restaurants serving Chinese meals, with the delicious dishes attracting a bigger crowd than expected.

"My interest in Chinese food is from my father who was working in a Chinese restaurant in Jerusalem with Chinese professional chefs. And he saw that Chinese food was healthy and very popular, so we opened a restaurant which operates well and we plan to expand our business," said Amir Dali, owner of the "Chinese Food Corner" in Ramallah.

Dali's restaurant is known for the fast preparation time of meals, with customers keen to come in for a quick bite. Diners can see the fresh ingredients being prepared and the cooking is done in front of their eyes.

Shukri Alawi, a specialist in Chinese cuisine who works at the Chinese Food Corner, said the variety of dishes have all proved a hit with the public.

"The Chinese restaurant is very popular and people feel good about Chinese food. There are meals with rice, chicken, vegetables and pasta that people like so much," he said.

"We came to Ramallah for this Chinese restaurant because we heard that it is vegetarian, very healthy and the food is made quickly. So we came to try it," said a customer named Emad Harzallah.

"Chinese food is very nutritious, with healthy ingredients and vegetables, and it tastes very good. It is somewhat different from Arab food," said Magdy Fahmy, another customer.

As well as the mouthwatering flavors, the speed of service is another convenient factor for many residents and company employees, with many relying on Chinese restaurants to deliver fast food to their homes or workplaces.

ويقدّم طهاة تتلمذوا على أيدي أمهر الطباخين الصينيين وجبات صينية تجذب الجمهور الفلسطيني بمذاقها الطيب وفوائدها الصحية.

وتعد السمعة العالمية الكبيرة للمطاعم الصينية والتتلمذ على أيدي طهاة صينيين محترفين من الحوافز الكبيرة لدى كثيرين في فلسطين لافتتاح مطاعم تقدّم الوجبات الصينية التي أصبح الإقبال عليها أكثر من المتوقع.

ويتمتّع المطعم الصيني بميزات كثيرة، أولها سرعة تحضير الوجبات التي تعرض مكوناتها وطهيها أمام كل مواطن سواء كان على عجلة من أمره أم سيتناول وجبته داخل المطعم.

وذكر شكري علوي، مختص في طهي الطعام الصيني: "الإقبال جيد والناس لديهم فكرة جيدة عن الأكل الصيني، هناك وجبات مع الأرز ودجاج وخضروات، والمكرونة التي تحبها الناس كثيرا."

وبات الجمهور يقصد المطعم الصيني للاستمتاع بمذاق أكله الطيب والشهي والاستفادة من فوائده الصحية.

وقال عماد حرزالله، ساكن محلي: "جئنا الى رام الله للمطعم الصيني لأننا سمعنا أن أكله نباتي وصحي جدا وسريع التحضير، وجئنا لنجربه."

كما ذكر مجدي فهمي، ساكن محلي آخر: "الأكل الصيني مغذي جدا، وبه مكونات صحية خاصة بالخضروات وطعمه رائع جدا، وهو يختلف عن الأكل العربي نوعا ما."

وأكثر ما يدفع المواطنين خاصة الموظفين للإقبال على المطاعم الصينية هو خدمة توصيل طلباتهم إلى أماكن عملهم وبسرعة كبيرة جدا.
