The naval delegations from various countries successively arrived in Qingdao City of east China's Shandong Province on Saturday to participate in the multinational naval activities marking the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Navy.
Arriving at the Qingdao Liuting International Airport on Saturday morning are the naval delegation of Fiji, led by the commander of the Fijian Navy, the naval delegation of Argentina, led by the Chief of General Staff of the Argentine Navy, and the naval delegation of Peru, led by the commander of the Peruvian Navy.
In all, more than 60 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, America and Oceania will send naval delegations for the anniversary celebrations. In particular, more than 30 countries will be represented by their main naval leaders, and over ten countries including Russia, Thailand, Vietnam and India, will send naval vessels.
The foreign naval delegations and military attaches will attend a high-level forum held in Qingdao from April 24 to 25.
