Residents of China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region held a rally Sunday afternoon in support of the region's police force, the rule of law and social order.

Attendees gathered on the lawns of Tamar Park, many waving the national flag of China and holding up signs with words supporting the HK police and their efforts of impartially enforcing the law.

At the same time a series of online rallies were also held, with posts supporting the HK police gained more than 1 million "likes".
