"We have repeatedly pointed out that the DPP authorities played a very disgraceful role in Hong Kong’s recent situation. By stirring up trouble and adding fuel to the fire, they colluded with the ‘Hong Kong independence’ force and attempted to meddle up Hong Kong and damage the 'one country, two systems’ principle. They took the opportunity to bash and smear the mainland constantly, incite populist opinions on the island and create anti-China and China-phobia sentiments so as to fish for electoral advantages. Neglecting the safety and well-being of people in Taiwan, they brazenly invited Hong Kong separatists to visit Taiwan recently, providing shelters for the violent radicals and making Taiwan a haven for crime, which will mess up Taiwan. We once again advice the DPP authorities to immediately withdraw ‘black hands’ from Hong Kong, stop interfering in Hong Kong affairs, stop conniving at violent activists, stop providing them shelter, and stop the destruction of cross-Strait relations."
