U.S. and Chinese enterprises are interdependent on each other, said businessmen attending the U.S.-China CEO Dialogue on Wednesday in Beijing.
The two-day event, which was organized by China Center for International Economic Exchanges and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, brought 20 business leaders from both countries together to share their views on the on-going trade dispute between the world's two largest economies.
The U.S. representative said that the US.-China relationship is at a critical juncture and the bilateral relationship is facing severe tests.
Friction has had a negative impact on both the U.S. and Chinese economies, and the global economy is also under a pressure to slow down.
It is hoped that the U.S. and China can properly solve the problems in bilateral economic and trade relations through negotiation and consultation.
