"This attack causing physical injuries is intentional and malicious. It not only targeted citizens, but also targeted those who have different opinions. As a Hong Kong resident, I was really shocked, because the perpetrator tried to assassinate Junius Ho, a citizen, in broad daylight. This is an attempted and planned crime, even a murder. I was really astonished because if I disagree with others, I might be stabbed on the street."

"I think all the ideas of the rioters are wrong in attempt to deceive more people in Hong Kong. The violence has come to a really bad stage. The Hong Kong residents should stand up and say 'no' to violence and make a clean break with the rioters. Otherwise, our lives and property will be seriously threatened."

A Hong Kong entrepreneur on Friday strongly condemned Wednesday's brutal knife attack against Junius Ho, a member of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).
Ho, an HKSAR lawmaker running for the re-election in district council of Tuen Mun, was attacked as a district council election candidate during his campaign. Ho was stabbed in the left side of his chest by a male in his election campaign event near Richland Garden, Tuen Mun, on Wednesday morning. He was sent to a hospital and fortunately not in a life-threatening condition.
Wong Chi-lou, secretary general of the Hong Kong New Youth Think Tank, said the attack is malicious.

Wong stressed that Hong Kong is a society based on the rule of law, and such an extremely violent crime has threatened the safety of residents, and so everyone should speak out against violence.
