"There's a number of businesses who have also received orders, and executed supply contracts, in a value of millions of dollars as well. So they're fantastic outcomes. I think the CIIE in some ways has exceeded their expectations. Many of them have already said they are keen to come back next year."

Foreign exhibitors have achieved fruitful outcomes and cooperation opportunities at the second China International Import Expo (CIIE), which concluded Sunday in Shanghai, with 71.13 billion U.S. dollars worth of tentative deals reached for one-year purchases of goods and services.
The Australian exhibitors at this year's CIIE are organized by the South Australian Government. Their exhibits cover a wide range of Australian origin products, such as red wine, beef and dairy products. Their gains far exceeded the expectations of Marcus Kuller, an export advisor of the Australian government's TradeStart initiative.

For many other exhibitors, their post-CIIE work is not easy. They met a large number of new customers at the expo, and next their cooperation and follow-up implementation of the contracts will become their focus in the coming period.
