Netizens expressed their enthusiasm for the gala, saying that "we are united with 1.4 billion people together."
During the show, six famous anchors of China Central Television recited a poem out loud to tell the stories of ordinary Chinese people guarding the frontline of epidemic control.
Songs with a theme on China showed the tenacity and perseverance of the Chinese nation as well as articulated the firm determination and confidence of the Chinese people to fight against the epidemic in the face of difficulties.
