Storyline

Many enterprises of different fields in many places of China are gradually resuming operation to provide supplies for the victory of the battle against the novel coronavirus pneumonia (NCP).

In Handan City of north China's Hebei Province, workers in a factory make full use of every minute to produce flour product, which will be supplied to markets across the country. The factory can produce about 30,000 tons of flour everyday.

In Yantai City of east China's Shandong Province, a clothing manufacturing company has transformed the production line in the shortest time to turn out civil protective clothing so as to meet the great demand in the fight against the disease.

"The production process (of protective clothing) is relatively simple compared with that of fashion. Through technical and equipment transformation, we are able to meet the national standards," said Wu Jianmin, chairman of the clothing factory.

The clothing factory's present output reaches 2,000 pieces per day, which will be donated to the frontline of epidemic prevention. It is also constructing new production lines, aiming to produce over 20,000 pieces of protective clothing each day.

A chicken product factory of the province has taken measures to run 11 hours and slaughter about 70,000 chickens daily.

In south China's Hainan Province, the construction of the second phase expansion project of Haikou Meilan International Airport continues and it's planned to be completed and put into use this year as scheduled.

On the project, over 1,000 workers are distributed in several construction sites to quicken the interior decoration and equipment installation under strict measure of disease prevention.

"We disinfect the whole living area including the office, dormitory, canteen and toilets at least twice a day. We also take the temperature of all workers before they start working," said Zheng Xiaofeng, an engineer of the project.

In east China's Zhejiang Province, many enterprises resumed operation on Monday. To ensure heath safety, many of them resumed the operation first in the workshops of a higher degree of automation, and used the automatic equipment to improve safety and efficiency.
