"I would love to be here saying there are other things we can do. All we can do is pick ourselves up and take the fight back to the virus. For those of you who have the virus under control, do not lose control. Look at what other countries are suffering as they have lost control of the virus. So, if you're in a low incidence or a zero incidence situation, keep it up. It is worth the effort. If you're, as many countries are, in a difficult transmission environment right now, there are no other options, but to do what you've done before."

World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has expressed thanks to China and a team of international experts for their support to the investigation into the origins of the novel coronavirus.
Tedros announced that a 10-member expert team will travel to China to investigate the potential origins of the virus and study China's best practices to better prepare the world for future health crisis on Monday at a press conference in Geneva.
He expressed his gratitude to the countries and institutions that support the WHO's work on the origins of the virus.
"We are pleased that an international team of scientists - distinguished experts from 10 institutions and countries - are commencing their travel to China to engage in and review scientific research with their Chinese counterparts on the origins of the virus," said Tedros.
WHO Health Emergencies Programme executive director Michael Ryan stressed that the investigation will be about conducting crucial scientific research, not accountability, noting that origin tracing must be based on scientific principles rather than politics.
Speaking about the severity of the COVID-19 pandemic in some countries, Ryan encouraged public health workers to keep up the fight.
