Israelis living in and near the Gaza Strip are calling for peace as deadly conflict between Israel and the Palestinians continues.

The conflict between Israel and the Hamas-led militant Palestinian groups starting last Monday, which is the fiercest since 2014, has killed at least 192 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, including 58 children and 33 women, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza amid an intensive Israeli air and artillery barrage. More than 1,000 other people were injured in the attacks.

Meanwhile, 10 people have been killed in Israel, including two children, as a result of intensive rocket attacks launched by militant Palestinian groups, Israeli authorities say.

"I myself and many people in this area believe that the solution is not by force. The solution must be a peaceful solution. And the situation in Gaza is terrible, humanitarian [the humanitarian situation] is terrible. They have no water. They have hardly any electricity. It's terrible there. And until this will be solved somehow, there's no chance for peace or whatever or solution," said Navarro, a resident of Mefalsim, an Israeli community near the Gaza Strip.

"When we hear the sirens, we have 15 seconds to come and get inside. The six last days we've been 60 times, maybe more, coming here, and we sleep here in the shelter," said another Mefalsim local named David.

In the nearby Sderot, an Israeli city located less than a mile from Gaza, many bomb shelters for kids were seen in the streets. The shelters are designed with colorful paintings, and structures in the style of animals have been built to protect children from the conflict.

Residents in the region said they have been living with bombings and sirens these days, and have to flee to bomb shelters frequently.

On Sunday, rocket fire and smoke could be visibly seen in the sky over the Gaza-Israel border. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has deployed tanks and ground forces near its border with Gaza.

Les Israéliens vivant près de la bande de Gaza appellent à la paix, alors que les bombardements meurtriers se poursuivent.

Les conflits entre Israël et le Hamas, qui se sont déclarés lundi dernier, ont coûté la vie à au moins 192 Palestiniens dans la bande de Gaza, dont 58 enfants et 33 femmes, selon le ministère palestinien de la Santé. Plus d'un millier d'autres ont été blessées lors des attaques.

"Comme beaucoup d'autres dans cette zone, je pense que la solution n'est pas militaire. La solution doit être pacifique. La situation à Gaza est horrible sur le plan humanitaire. Ils n'ont ni d'eau, ni d'électricité. C'est horrible. Avant qu'une solution ne soit trouvée d'une manière ou d'une autre, il n'y aura aucune chance pour la paix ou quoi que ce soit", a affirmé dimanche Navarro, un habitant de Mefalsim, près de la bande de Gaza.

"Quand nous entendons les sirènes, nous avons 15 secondes pour entrer ici. Ces six derniers jours, nous nous sommes cachés 60 fois, peut-être plus. Nous dormons dans l'abri", a ajouté David, un autre habitant local.

À Sderot, une ville israélienne située à moins de deux kilomètres de Gaza, de nombreux abris anti-bombes pour enfants ont été mis en place dans la rue.

يطالب الناس الذين يعيشون بالقرب من قطاع غزة بالسلام مع استمرار الصراعات المميتة.

وقد أسفرت المواجهات بين إسرائيل والجماعات المسلحة التي تقودها حماس والتي بدأت يوم الإثنين الماضي، وهي الأشرس منذ 2014، عن مقتل ما لا يقل عن 192 فلسطينيًا في قطاع غزة، بينهم 58 طفلاً و 33 امرأة، وفقًا لوزارة الصحة الفلسطينية في غزة.

وأصيب أكثر من 1000 شخص آخر في الهجمات.

وقال نافارو، وهو من سكان بلدة مفالسيم الإسرائيلية الواقعة بالقرب من قطاع غزة: "أنا عن نفسي وكذا الكثير من الناس في هذه المنطقة نعتقد أن الحل ليس بالقوة. الحل يجب أن يكون سلمياً. إن الوضع في غزة مروع، و(الوضع ) الإنساني رهيب. ليس لديهم ماء. وليس لديهم أي كهرباء. إنه لأمر فظيع. وحتى يتم حل هذا بطريقة ما، لا توجد فرصة للسلام أو لأي حل."

وذكر سكان المنطقة أنهم يعيشون مع القنابل وصفارات الإنذار هذه الأيام، وعليهم الفرار إلى ملاجئ الغارات الجوية لحماية أنفسهم.

من جانبه، قال مقيم آخر يدعى ديفيد: "عندما نسمع صفارات الإنذار، لدينا 15 ثانية للهروب واللجوء إلى الداخل. في الأيام الستة الماضية أتينا إلى هنا 60 مرة، وربما أكثر، ونحن ننام هنا في الملجأ."

في سديروت القريبة، وهي مدينة إسرائيلية تقع على بعد أقل من ميل واحد من غزة، شوهدت العديد من الملاجئ للأطفال في الشوارع، فيما تم بناء الملاجئ التي صُممت برسومات ملونة على أشكال حيوانات لحماية الأطفال في ظل الحرب.

Las personas que viven cerca de la Franja de Gaza y sus alrededores claman por la paz mientras continúa el conflicto armado entre Palestina e Israel.

El conflicto entre Israel y grupos militares liderados por Hamás en la Franja de Gaza se recrudeció el pasado lunes, llegando a ser la más violenta y mortal desde 2014. Los ataques, los intensos bombardeos aéreos y de artillería de Israel han provocado la muerte de al menos 192 palestinos en la Franja de Gaza, incluidos 58 niños y 33 mujeres, según el Ministerio de Salud palestino en Gaza. Además, más de 1.000 personas resultaron heridas en los mismos.

En Sderot, una cercana ciudad israelí, ubicada a menos de una milla de Gaza, se encuentran muchos refugios antiaéreos para niños en las calles. Los refugios se diseñaron con dibujos coloridos o en forma de animales, con el fin de proteger a los niños israelíes del conflicto.

Los residentes de la región están viviendo entre bombas y alarmas estos días, y han tenido que huir en varias ocasiones a los refugios antiaéreos para protegerse.

El domingo, se podían observar claramente el fuego y humo de los ataques en el cielo sobre la frontera entre Gaza e Israel. Las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel (FDI) han desplegado tanques y fuerzas terrestres cerca de su frontera con Gaza.

Menschen, die im Gazastreifen und in dessen Nähe leben, fordern Frieden, während der tödliche Konflikt zwischen Israel und Palästina weitergeht.
Der Konflikt zwischen Israel und den von der Hamas geführten militanten palästinensischen Gruppen, der am vergangenen Montag wieder ausbrach, ist der heftigste seit 2014. Nach Angaben des palästinensischen Gesundheitsministeriums in Gaza wurden im Gazastreifen während eines intensiven israelischen Luft- und Artillerieangriffs mindestens 192 Palästinenser getötet, darunter 58 Kinder und 33 Frauen. Bei den Angriffen wurden zudem mehr als 1.000 Personen verletzt.

Währenddessen wurden in Israel infolge intensiver Raketenangriffe militanter palästinensischer Gruppen zehn Menschen getötet, darunter zwei Kinder, so die israelischen Behörden.

„Ich selbst und viele Menschen in dieser Region glauben, dass die Lösung nicht gewaltsam sein sollte. Die Lösung muss eine friedliche sein. Und die Situation in Gaza ist schrecklich, die humanitäre [Situation] ist schrecklich. Sie haben kein Wasser. Sie haben kaum Strom. Es ist schrecklich. Und bis dies irgendwie gelöst ist, gibt es keine Chance auf Frieden oder was auch immer, oder eine Lösung“, sagte dazu Navarro, ein Einwohner von Mefalsim, einem israelischen Wohnviertel in der Nähe des Gazastreifens.

Einwohner der Region erzählten, sie hätten in diesen Tagen mit Bombenangriffen und Sirenen gelebt und müssten häufig in Luftschutzbunker fliehen, um sich zu schützen.

„Wenn wir die Sirenen hören, haben wir 15 Sekunden Zeit, um hineinzukommen. In den vergangenen sechs Tagen sind wir 60 Mal, vielleicht öfters, hierhergekommen, wir schlafen auch hier im Schutzraum“, sagte David, ein anderer Einwohner.

In der nahe gelegenen israelischen Stadt Sderot, die weniger als einen Kilometer von Gaza entfernt liegt, wurden auf den Straßen viele mobile Luftschutzbunker für Kinder errichtet. Die Anlagen wurden mit farbenfrohen Malereien versehen, auch Konstruktionen im Stil von Tieren wurden gebaut, um Kinder zu schützen.
