China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) unveiled logos of the next three major space missions, namely Mengtian lab module, Tianzhou-5 cargo spacecraft, and Shenzhou-15 crewed spaceship.
Later this year, China is expected to carry out these three space missions to complete the construction of its Tiangong space station.
Upon completion of these missions, Tiangong space station will then evolve from a single-module structure into a national space laboratory with three modules - the core module Tianhe, and lab modules Wentian and Mengtian.
The first lab module Wentian of China's space station was launched on July 24 from Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site in south China's Hainan Province.
The Mengtian lab module, the second lab modules destined for the China's space station, is now at Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site. China Manned Space Agency said Tuesday that the lab module will be assembled and tested as planned.
