Storyline


A toddler fell out of the window of a moving bus on Wednesday in Nanchong City of southwest China's Sichuan Province, according to a private car owner's event data recorder.

According to video footage recorded by the device, a minibus was parked by the roadside in the afternoon when a girl dressed in pink suddenly fell out of the window and dropped on the ground.

Her mother soon got off the bus to carry the girl who was crying, the video footage showed.

According to the bus driver, the mother said her daughter was fine and let the driver to drive the bus.

The two-year-old girl was sitting beside her mother and playing around at her seat by the window before the accident happened. She fell out of the window after she lost her balance.

The driver asked the mother to leave a contact number in case that the girl was injured, but she had carried her daughter and left, since no evident injuries were found.

The bus has been detained and the driver was required to stop driving for three days for further investigation of the case.
