With five days to go before the Group of 20 (G20) summit slated for Sept. 4 to 5, Hangzhou City in east China's Zhejiang Province has well prepared to present a glamorous scenery embracing both past and present to the world.

Chines President Xi Jinping said that the G20 summit will present an unique appeal featuring in both history and reality in 2016.

As the representative of reality, the Hangzhou International Expo Center, the main venue of the G20 summit, the Hangzhou Grand Theater and the Hangzhou International Conference Center, where Chinese President Xi Jinping will deliver a keynote speech, are the epitome of Hangzhou City, as the summit has taken innovation as the first topic, while Hongzhou is a role model in this regard.

The West Lake, inscribed on the World Heritage List by the United Nations Educational,Scientific,and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), is the representative of history of Hangzhou City.

Since 2002, tickets for the West Lake have been canceled, which benefits not only the locals but also the tourists across the world.

The G20 summit, that brings together elites to discuss development of the world economy, will help build Hangzhou into a metropolitan.
