The bodies of the 10 persons missing have been found, confirmed dead after a deadly landslide destroyed part of a hotel building in central China's Hubei Province.

This has brought the total death toll of the landslide up to 12.

The landslide happened at around 19:30 Friday when around 3,000 cubic meters of rocks and earth, with the largest rock measuring 150 tons, poured down, burying part of a hotel down below.

Buried under the hotel were 15 people with the oldest being 61 and the youngest being 17, who were easting at the hotel restaurant on the ground floor.

Rescuers pulled out five persons from the rubble after the landslide. But two died on the way to hospital. Three other are out of life-threatening danger and receiving further treatment in the hospital.

The rescue operation was suspended for nearly five hours due to risks of a secondary disaster.

The hotel was built in 2007. Hotel owner, He Dahui, died in the disaster.
