"The Group of 77 and China moved this resolution which was adopted by a big majority by the General Assembly. And by this resolution the principles that have been endorsed are found also in China's 'One Belt, One Road' initiative. We have seen many countries -- both from the developing world and the developed world -- both endorsing many of the principles that are also found in China's 'One Belt, One Road' initiative. So this is also a win-win for all countries. So we are very happy and pleased that this resolution was adopted."

(Reporter:"How do you think about China's role in the performance of global economic governance?")
"I think China has a leading role to play in the evolution of global economic governance for the future, not only because China is a very important global economic power, but also because China brings to the table its experience of South-South cooperation, of working with other countries -- developing countries to help them develop and prosper, especially at a time when we see other economies in the world going through either troubles, or they are in transition, they are trying to address their own challenges."
