"We're also supportive of refugees living in the refugee camps - families living in Zaatari camp and Azraq refugee camp, in the form of cash to improve the shelter's conditions and also to buy gasoline there and also high thermal blankets. And we have provided some insulation materials to improve the shelter's conditions."

"We've managed to support 300,000 individuals in this country, but we have over 700,000 refugees that are registered. So it's important to know that at some point of the year, we thought we were not going to be able to cover all the needs of the refugees in the country."

The help offered by international organizations is far from enough to meet the needs of Syrian refugees in Jordan, especially in winter time, said an associate external relationship officer of the United Nations High Commissioner For Refugees (UNHCR).
About 1.3 million Syrian refugees live in refugee camps in Jordan and for most of them, this will be their seventh year. Life is getting harder and they have to depend on reliefs from International Organizations.
During winter, refugees need additional gas cylinders, coats and plastic sheeting for shelters. This is a problem as a lot of them live on less than 1 U.S. dollar per family per day.

And we have provided some insulation materials to improve the shelter's conditions," said Olga Sarrado Mur, associate external relationship officer of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
However, it is more arduous for refugees living outside of refugee camp as the accommodations might not be suited for heavy rain and snow.
Olga also mentioned that the aids received from the international organizations are far from sufficient time for the needs of refugees.
